3 Most Popular Hair Extensions Types, according to Medusa Customers

Few hair changes provide such a dramatic makeover with as little commitment as extensions. We love how extensions transform the way we feel from one hour to the next, but it's hard to know which type of extension is right for you with so many extension options available. Clip In hair extensions are fast and easy to apply at home but must be removed at the end of the day. Tape-In extensions stay in for up to 6 weeks, but they are a little more complicated and take some expertise to apply correctly. Halo's are a popular, super easy to apply choice.

🤩  Tape-ins are our most popular type of hair extension. Tape extensions are thicker and give you the hair of your dreams. They are segments of hair attached to two-inch thick double-sided tape and secured by clamping the tape between strands of your natural hair. Medusa Tape-Ins cost as little as $120 for 16" Original Remy extensions, to $640 at the very top end. Think super long and super lush!

⭐️ Clip-ins are the most affordable type of hair extension and super easy to apply. You can apply them yourself in 10 to 15 minutes by using clips to secure the band of hair to your scalp. The cost of clip-in extensions can cost anywhere from $29 for a few clip-in streaks to $340+ for a full head of 22" 220g hair.

⭐️ Halo extensions are the most gentle on your hair. A transparent wire sits around the crown of the head like a halo. The bottom half contains the hair, while the top half remains bare so it can be easily hidden under your own hair. Medusa Halo's are also secured with a few small clips to ensure they stay firmly in place. Super easy to do yourself, they range in price from $185 to $345. Important to note - Medusa Halo's are fully customisable, which means you will find them on our website under the Custom Made to Order menu.
