Hair Trends For Autumn/Fall 2021

Hair Trends For Autumn/Fall 2021

t’s that time of the year again. The sweaters and boots are unpacked, spicy chai is back on the coffee shop menu and it’s definitely starting to get cooler out. And with the change in seasons comes a new set of hair trends for autumn/fall 2021!

We’ve put together some of the hottest hair trends just for you. Understated waves, coffee tones, toned down blondes and a nod to the 70s are just some of the hair trends this season.

The French Fringe

As a result of on-again, off-again lockdowns, we’ve all taken to lower maintenance styles. French girls do it best when it comes to chic, effortless style, so it’s not surprising that the French fringe is having a moment right now. So chic, so ’70s.

Shades Of Espresso

Warmer tones and darker shades feel ‘right’ when the light fades and the weather cools in autumn. Replace warm tones with cool brown ones that evoke espresso. Espresso brown is super dark, and it looks almost black. So, why would anyone want this colour? Uh, because it looks great by itself, and the sun brings out the natural brown highlights! We’ll undoubtedly be seeing more of the really dark brown and almost black shades this autumn, and Medusa is right here for it. Check out our colour guides for your perfect moody match.

Barely There Waves

Waves are also going low key this season with a barely noticeable vibe. To achieve this look at home, loosely braid wet hair before bed, then lightly brush it out in the morning, fixing the waves with a light hold spray.

Ash Blonde Locks

This cool, highly coveted shade has been spotted everywhere this season so far. Ash Blonde is a shade that’s best balanced by natural undertones. It can be hard to get the balance just right yourself, so we suggest asking your stylist to guide you.

You can also show your stylist Medusa Sandy Blonde 10/60P#, a blend that works extremely well with some ash-blondes. You may also want to try toning 60# Platinum Blonde for all-over ash.
