Halloween Hair In 2016

Halloween Hair In 2016

It’s (be)witching hour! And to help make your halloween party an extra specially spooktacular occasion, we’ve got the devilish details on how to bring two of your favourite female pop culture icons to life!

Rey (from Star Wars: The Force Awakens)

Beautiful and tough, surviving for years as a desert scavenger, Rey’s futuristic and practical hairstyle features three buns down the centre of her head. Use our ponytail extensions to add volume to each bun, clip in weft hair extensions will work also.

Start by sectioning off a small amount of hair from the top front part of your head. Pull it back and tie off into a small ponytail. Gather a section of hair from the top of your ears to the crown of your head and brush into a ponytail. On the last loop as you are tightening the elastic pull your hair only halfway through: this will create the bun. Wrap the hair which hasn’t been pulled through the elastic around the base of the bun and secure with bobby pins. Repeat the process two more times, with each bun sitting directly below the one before. Pull forward some strands of hair to frame your face on either side. Drape yourself in earth coloured fabrics with some suede boots and you’re set!

Harley Quinn (from Suicide Squad)

One of the zaniest female characters featured right now, Quinn is a villainess we love to love! Use clip in hair extensions or two ponytail extensions for length and volume. Part hair down the middle as evenly and cleanly as possible and create two high pigtails. Curl and bunch hair to add volume and texture.

Sling a towel around your shoulders and brush blue, then pink coloured hair chalk from the ends of each pigtail until about halfway up. Pull two thick strands out to frame your face and volumize using upward brush strokes. Tie a blue ribbon around the blue pigtail and a red ribbon around the pink one. Pink and blue eyeshadow. Dress Quinn-esque. Step out and create some mayhem!
