Starting about where your eyebrows are, section off the top part of your hair so it’s even on both sides and tie it off with a hair elastic.
Now apply your clip ins to the rest of the hair that’s hanging down, making sure they’re firmly secure and well concealed. Leave out both of your 3 clip wefts; you’ll use them later on to give your ponytail extra body.
Tie the bottom half back into a pony so it doesn’t get confused with the top layer while you’re working on it.
Drop down the top layer and tease the top of your hair to give it a little extra oomph and volume, before tying it up into a cute pony on the top of your head.
Take the 3 clip wefts that you saved and clip them both around the top of your ponytail, one in front of the other, then tie another elastic to secure it all in place.
Conceal where they’re clipped in by taking a section of hair from the ponytail and wrapping it around the base to hide any evidence, and bobby pin it in place behind and underneath the base of the tail.
Use a small barrelled curling wand to curl the bottom and top of your hair so the whole ‘do is blended seamlessly together.
